Vancouver Fiddle Summit: In Concert

Come and see Vancouver Youth Fiddle Summit: In Concert, a unique and collaborative performance of young folk music ensembles from across Western Canada!

This year’s participants include the North Shore Celtic Ensemble (Vancouver), BC Fiddle Orchestra (Victoria), Bow Valley Fiddlers (Calgary) , Fiddleheads (Whitehorse), Fiddelium (Nanaimo), Coast String Fiddlers (Gibsons) and Fiddlers North of 60 (Whitehorse).

Over the weekend, participants took a series of workshops and ensemble coaching from directors hailing from across Western Canada to develop shared repertoire, improve technical aspects of their playing, and explore other aspects of performance and stagecraft. In doing so, these groups have built new friendships while making great music together! Come and see the results of their collaboration!
